It’s not exactly a big trek to get to Fiji, an archipelago of more than 300 islands in the South Pacific, if you live on the east coast of Australia. On a plane from Sydney or Brisbane you can be in paradise in less than four hours. Once there, you’ll find turquoise water, white-sand beaches, palm trees swaying in the breeze, jungle rivers and lovely locals, while you adjust to the joy that is ‘Fiji time’.
