Mick Jagger’s Rolling Stones bandmates have come together to wish the legendary rocker a happy 81st birthday.

The band’s guitarists, Ronnie Wood and Keith Richards, both posted their heartfelt birthday wishes to social media on Friday, July 26

Close friend and Stones co-founder Richards was among the first to wish Jagger a happy birthday with a picture of himself with the singer taken in 1969, with Jagger playing an acoustic guitar and laughing with him.

“Happy Birthday, Mick. Love Keith,” Richards wrote alongside the image.

Rolling Stones guitarist Wood also celebrated Jagger’s special day with a picture of the two performing in red outfits.

“Wishing a very happy 81st birthday to Mick,” he said.

The sea of birthday messages comes after the Stones completed their Hackney Diamonds 2024 tour across the US and Canada, which wrapped up on July 5 at BC Place in Vancouver.
