It has only been a matter of months since they walked down the aisle at the wedding of Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex, and Prince George and Princess Charlotte had a starring role once again at Princess Eugenie’s wedding on Friday.

The young royals, aged five and three, were part of the 28-year-old’s bridal party as she tied the knot with Jack Brooksbank at St George’s Chapel, Windsor, while their parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, looked proudly on.

Despite her young age, Princess Charlotte has become one of the royal family’s biggest stars and her most recent appearance was no difference as she delighted royal fans by waving from the window of the car, in what has become her trademark style.

However the young princess took a tumble on the steps outside of the chapel as she made her way inside to fulfil her duties as one of six bridesmaids.

The bridal party was made up of William and Catherine’s eldest children, Princess Charlotte and big brother Prince George, along with Savannah Phillips, seven, and Isla Phillips, six, who are the daughters of Peter and Autumn Phillips.

Zara and Mike Tindall’s four-year-old daughter Mia also followed Eugenie down the aisle, alongside Eugenie’s goddaughter Maud Windsor, five, who is the granddaughter of Prince Michael of Kent.

And five-year-old Prince George appeared to be his usual cheeky self as he was spotted picking his nose, like any other young boy, as well as being photographed covering his mouth and giggling as if he’d been caught getting up to no good, as he larked around with cousin Savannah Phillips.

But it wasn’t just members of the royal family who were asked to be a part of Eugenie and Jack’s special day as Theodora Williams, six, daughter of Take That star Robbie Williams and actress wife Ayda Fields, was also a bridesmaid, and page boy Louis de Givenchy, six, is the son of Eugenie and Jack’s friends Olivier and Zoe de Givenchy.

The young bridesmaids and page boys were accompanied by two special attendants, Lady Louise Windsor, 14, and her brother Viscount Severn, 10, who are the children of the Earl and Countess of Wessex.

The bridesmaids wore sweet white frocks, which featured ruffled collars and cuffs, while the boys wore white shirts with navy piping and matching navy trousers. All of the outfits were accentuated by a brightly patterned sash, which reflected a piece of vibrant art that was printed on the back of the official order of service for the nuptials.

Did you watch the royal wedding? What did you think of the young bridesmaids and page boys?
