Most mums receive a new pair of slippers or a last-minute bunch of flowers on Mother’s Day, but Carole Middleton, has a slightly more expensive taste as she has revealed in a Mother’s Day wish list for a British magazine.

From award-winning chocolates to personalised accessories, Carole shared her lavish demands in her Baby London magazine column at the weekend, the Mirror reported. And if the mother-of-three receives everything on it, Catherine, 36, Pippa, 34, and James, 30, will have to fork out a whopping £1,519 (A$2704, US$2128) — luckily her two daughters married into money.

The 63-year-old asked for an annual subscription from Harrods bespoke florist Neil Strain, which includes a once-a-month delivery of small bouquet for a mere £1,020.

Carole’s other must-haves include a £30 box of award-wining Rococo chocolates, a £64 Aurelia Revitalise & Glow serum, a £75 Marloe London scarf and a personalised silver necklace priced at £69.

But that’s not all. The event planner also suggests a £96 bangle engraved with the date of a child’s birthday from jewellery store Whistle & Bango and a £35 long-sleeve shirt from FMLY, which has the word ‘Mother’ emblazoned on it.

And there’s also a £130 pink faux leather backpack on the list — perfect for jet-setting mums!

To make the day “extra special” Carole suggests throwing a brunch party, complete with decorations, which can be found on her party planning website Party Pieces.

Carole recently joined the magazine as a contributing editor, sharing practical event planning tips and must-have buys in her monthly column.

She will be welcoming her third grandchild in April this year, when The Duchess of Cambridge is due to give birth. Punters have already started placing bets on the new baby’s sex and name with odds currently swinging towards a girl named Alice.

What do you think? Is this too much? What do you get for Mother’s Day?
