Packing hacks for lazy travellers

Share:

Packing for a big trip can be one of the more tedious challenges when planning a holiday, but for the last-minute and lazy travellers among us, the process doesn’t have to be a drawn out as you think.

Rather than spending weeks preparing what to pack, leave it to the last minute and get it done nice and quick thanks to these carefully selected packing hacks for lazy travellers.

1. Roll your clothing

Don’t spend your afternoon folding clothing before popping it into your suitcase, it’s going to get wrinkled regardless. Roll your clothing instead. It takes half the time and you’ll even be rewarded for your laziness because this method reduces wrinkles.

2 Collect hotel toiletries and use them for your next trip

You might not want to use those little hotel toiletries each and every time you go away, but it doesn’t hurt to stash a couple in your suitcase for your next trip. That way you don’t have to buy travel-sized toiletries or bring your regular bottles, which are too big and bulky anyway.

3. Use medication bottles for cosmetics

If you have medicine bottles lying around, then instead of throwing them away fill them up with your favourite creams and lotions instead of bringing your larger containers from home.

4. Pop a rolled belt into the collar of your shirts

If you need a dress shirt for your trip but don’t want to bother with the hassle of ironing, just pop a rolled up belt into the collar so it keeps its shape.

Instead of packing your bulky jackets and scarves, just wear them on the plane. You can peel the excess layers once you get on board, but at least you’ll have a lot more room to spare in your suitcase.
