Happy Days cast reunite 33 years later

The Happy Days gang are back together.

The cast of Happy Days are back together again, this time honouring the passing of their beloved cast mate Erin Moran.

Moran passed away on April 22 after a long battle with cancer, shocking many of her co-stars including her on-screen brother Ron Howard who admitted he hadn’t known she was sick.

Howard, who played the show’s lead character Richie Cunningham joined together with Scott Baio (Chachi), Cathy Silvers (Jenny Piccalo), Anson Williams (Potsie), Don Most (Ralph) and Marion Ross (Mrs C) at Ross’ home in Los Angeles for the special day.

Silvers, who remained close friends with Moran after the show ended, told People the memorial was a beautiful reflection of the actress’ life.

“I love my TV and real life best friend Erin! My dear Jones lives in my heart!” she said.

“Our memorial at Happy Days Farm for dear Erin was a precious gathering of our loving cast of Happy Days! We had a bittersweet, heartfelt evening of stories about our dear Erin!”

Last week, Howard appeared on The Talk where he said he was struggling to deal with Moran’s death.

“It’s been a rough time,” he said.

“My stepmother Judy passed away a couple of months ago, so the Erin event really did hit hard. … I had no idea she was ill whatsoever … She was always the kid on the set, in a way. When I think of her then, which is how I choose to think of her, she was this feisty, spirited little girl.”

The cast took this happy snap at Ross’ home after the memorial, proving their bond is closer than ever.
