He might be one of the most famous celebrity chefs on the planet, but Gordon Ramsay proved he is just like every other dad as he left 16-year-old daughter Tilly cringing while showing off his dance moves in a hilarious new video.
The 51-year-old Hell’s Kitchen star shared the video on Instagram on Tuesday, which showed him discussing the positives of teaching cooking lessons in school with his youngest child, who has her own cooking show on the BBC.
The clip begins with Matilda – known as Tilly – telling her famous dad: “I think all schools should try and do cooking lessons because it really helps and it is something you’re going to need.” Ramsay agrees, saying: “You learn to eat healthy, you learn to look after yourself and it makes you a little bit more independent.”
The dad-of-four then asks his daughter: “All your mates want to come round and like, sort of, have dinner parties? Don’t you do dinner parties before the disco?”

Tilly – who is the youngest of Ramsay’s four children with wife Tana, 44 – can’t help but laugh at her dad, before replying: “The disco? Yeah right. How many times have I said to you that I’m going to the disco. It’s a party.”
However things then take an even more embarrassing turn as the fiery-tempered chef breaks out in an impromptu dance routine, set to the beat of 1993 hit track ‘La Macarena’, leaving Tilly covering her face and begging her dad to “stop”.

The father-daughter duo filmed the clip for UK breakfast show This Morning, for their regular segment titled ‘Big Chef Little Chef’, which aims to get children interested in cooking from a young age.
The comical video racked up more than 200,000 likes in just 24 hours on social media and fans were quick to praise the foul-mouthed star, with one writing: “I think it’s fantastic your teaching your daughter to cook and the youth today! So what your daughter is on the media with you! I think it’s cool she wants to be with ‘Dad’!” (sic)
While another said: “The best dad you could have is Chef Gordon.”
Tilly has followed in her famous father’s footsteps, inheriting his passion for food, and has presented her own cookery show Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch since 2015, even realising her own book Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch: Tilly’s Kitchen Takeover.
She has also appeared on the UK version of MasterChef Junior and several of her dad’s shows including The F Word and Hell’s Kitchen (US).
