Former Home and Away star Jonny Ruffo has shared new insight into his health as he fights brain cancer for the second time.

The Aussie actor and singer shared images on Facebook showing his latest round of radiation, writing: “Another round of radiation on the cards.”

In the photo, the 33-year-old star can be seen wearing a white plastic mesh mask- known as an immobilising mask and is quite tight-fitting- to help him keep his head still while he undergoes his radiation treatment.

Ruffo’s post was flooded with comments of support from fans and other Aussie stars, including well-wishes from Home and Away cast members Georgie Parker, Jake Spee and Emily Symons.

“Keep going son ,” Speer wrote.

“Sending you so much love Johnny,” Symons commented.

“Love to you, mate,” Parker added.

Today Extra host David Campbell also commented, “Smash it, brother. You got this.”

“You’ve got this!,” PR queen Roxy Jacenko wrote in encouragement.

Long-term girlfriend, Tahnee Sims, added a simple red love heart emoji in the comments.

Just last week, Ruffo’s previous social media post had been a heartwarming tribute to Sims on Valentine’s Day.

Ruffo has been giving his fan regular social media updates since November 2020, when he penned a heartbreaking post announcing his brain cancer had returned.

“After an unexpected week of seizures and excruciating headaches it is with a heavy heart that I have to let you know I now have another huge battle ahead of me as my brain cancer has returned,” Ruffo wrote at the time.

“Though I will dig deep and beat this s–t disease again  #f–kcancer.”

The actor has since appeared in good spirits as he continued to undergo treatments, thanking his fans for their endless support.

Last year, he updated fans with a photo of him smiling and giving the camera a thumbs up during chemotherapy at the hospital.

He wrote at the time: “Been busy fighting the good fight. Another round down.. Bring on the next”
