Many grandparents will remember the joy of their first Christmas with their grandkids, and for Better Homes and Gardens host Johanna Griggs that special day is happening this year.
Johanna, 45, became a grandmother in March when her son Joe and his partner Katie welcomed their firstborn, Jax.
At eight months old, Jax is getting ready to experience his first Christmas, and it appears Johanna couldn’t be more excited.
She’s shared a series of gorgeous snaps on her Instagram page showing the adorable boy cuddled up to his dad and smiling for the camera.
Jo wrote alongside the photos: “Jax gave his personalised Christmas Decoration a big thumbs up today! He is going to be so spoilt over the next week!”

In another shot toys can be seen sprawled across the floor and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree stands in the background as Jax laughs for the camera.
Johanna previously spoke out about her joy at becoming a grandmother at 44, telling Stellar magazine that she’s “ridiculously besotted” with her first grandbaby.
“We are just so in love with that little boy and cannot believe the joy he has brought,” she told the publication. “There is something so magical about having a little baby back in your lives and we are just ridiculously besotted.
“You don’t think you can find room for any more love and then your heart just explodes. Joe and his partner Katie are such competent, confident parents, but we keep telling them: anytime you want to go out, we’ve got the cot set up.”
Joe and his brother James are Johanna’s sons with her former husband, Gary Sweet.
The Better Homes and Gardens host broke the happy news of Jax’s birth to fans in March, saying Joe and his partner Katie were “completely calm and over the moon”.

Like many first-time grandparents, she was blown away at seeing her son with his own newborn, and added: “Can’t begin to to describe how incredible it is to see my baby holding his baby.”
She’s shared plenty of photos and videos of little Jax on her social media accounts since he was born, acting every bit the proud grandmother.
