Bindi Irwin has announced she’s pregnant with her first baby with her husband Chandler Powell. The 22-year-old, who tied the knot with Chandler in an intimate ceremony at Australia Zoo in March, confirmed the news on Instagram Tuesday night.

“Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021,” Bindi wrote on Instagram, alongside an image of the pair holding a tiny Australia Zoo uniform.

“Chandler and I are proud to announce that we’re expecting! It’s an honour to share this special moment in our lives with you. Though I’m still in my first trimester, we really want you to be part of our journey from the beginning of this new life chapter.

“We couldn’t wait to share the news as this beautiful little being has become the most important part of our lives. Your support means the world to us. Please let me know your best advice and send good vibes & prayers to our little sweetheart. Love & light.”

Fans rushed to share their congratulations, with one writing: “Congratulations guys!! You’re a beautiful family!”

Another added: “Congrats! I hope you are both doing well and wishing you all the best.” While a third wrote: “It has been amazing growing up with you through the years, congratulations to you both love.”

Bindi and Chandler tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Australia Zoo on March 25, after the couple was forced to bring forward their nuptials due to the spread of coronavirus. Since then the 22-year-old has continued to share snippets of her special day with fans, including gorgeous photos of her beautiful dress and family snaps featuring some of the wildlife they care for.
