Kirk Douglas has been pictured spending some quality family time with his youngest great-grandchild in an adorable photo that is sure to tug on the heart strings.
The 101-year-old former actor can be seen staring lovingly down at the eight-month-old baby girl in the sweet black and white photo, which was shared on Instagram by his grandson Cameron Douglas.
Simply captioned “LOVE”, the snap shows gorgeous Lua Izzy – who was named in honour of Kirk – sitting by her great-grandfather’s feet with her tiny hand outstretched towards his.
Her unusual name is a tribute to the legendary actor, who was born Issur Danielovitch and later known as Izzy.

The sweet cross-generational photo received a number of loving responses from fans and more than 1,600 likes, with many commenting how special it was to capture the beautiful moment.
“What a precious and memorable moment,” one person wrote. While another said: “This. What life is all about.”
This is the second time Cameron, whose father is actor Michael Douglas, has shared a photo of the pair, with the first posted in January just weeks after the little girl’s birth.
The beautiful photo showed Kirk holding the newborn as Cameron stood by his side.

The much-loved actor, director and author is one of the last living stars of the film industry’s ‘Golden Age’.
He landed his first role in the 1946 film The Strange Love of Martha Ivers and was soon on the road to stardom, becoming one of the hottest stars of the 1950s and ’60s, with appearances in dramas, Westerns and war movies.
In fact, Kirk is currently number 17 on the American Film Institute’s list of greatest male on-screen stars of classic Hollywood cinema.
Not only that, the talented man and his beloved wife Anne are known as one of the ultimate Hollywood couples.
After 64 years of marriage, the couple have plenty of memories and a strong love for each other.
