There’s a new tote bag at Aldi and it’s sent wine enthusiasts around the country into a frenzy. The German retailer is known for its cheap and quick-to-sell “special buys” and it’s latest offering has people going nuts already.

The stylish tote bag looks normal enough from the outside, but inside it has a secret compartment that conceals a bottle of wine, ready to pour at a moment’s notice. A wine lover’s dream!

The secret compartment is an insulated, removable cooler with a dispenser on the side, so you can grab a glass and pour yourself a cool drink whenever you desire — perfect for a sneaky drink when Christmas lunch becomes a little too stressful.

The tote, which retails for $19.99, will no doubt be a hit among wine lovers when it hits stores this Saturday. In fact, hundreds of people on Facebook have already shared their excitement and demanded it be added to their Christmas wish lists.

“A good stocking stuffer for me,” one commentator wrote, while another added: “A must-have Christmas present.”

And a third wrote: “Aldi producing the goods once again!”

Others suggested the supermarket chain needed a backpack version for men.

However, those looking to get their hands on the tote will have to get in quick as Aldi’s special buys are famed for selling out within minutes and have even caused fights in the past as customers grapple to get their hands on the well-priced goods.

Other special buys hitting Aldi stores across the country this weekend include a lifestyle recliner chair ($16.99), which features four reclining back positions, a carry strap for easy transport and a comfortable padded seat, and an insulated stemless tumbler ($4.99), which keeps beverages hotter or cooler for longer.

For sports enthusiasts, the discount chain is also selling a lawn games set ($19.99), which includes a croquet and ring toss set.

Shopping at Aldi may be a new experience for many Aussies as stores continue to pop up around the country, but it hasn’t taken long for the country to fall in love with the German supermarket chain with studies confirming it is in fact our most trusted brand.

According to the latest survey by Roy Morgan ALDI’s success comes down to its discount prices and the reputation for reliability and meeting the needs of consumers.
