The product was sold nationally and retailers such as Harvey Norman, Good Guys, Betta Electrical, Bi Rite, Retravision, Radio Rentals, Clive Peeters, Clive Anthonys, Domayne, Joyce Mayne, Kambos, Porters, Rick Hart, AGL and Origin Energy have been listed.
If you purchased these items and know anyone who also bought them, please advise them to contact Glen Dimplex Australia on 1300 556 816 between 8.30am–5.00pm EST (Mon – Fri) or email techservau@glendimplex.com.au.for the product to be collected and replaced with an equivalent model.
At this point, a refund has not been mentioned in the recall announcement by the ACCC.

The defects: If used for an extended duration there is the potential for the motor capacitor to overheat.
The hazards: Potential fire or smoke hazard if the product was to overheat.
