Princess Mary looked both formal and stylish as she stepped out in a beautiful ensemble for an awards ceremony this week.

The Aussie-born princess put on a gorgeous display in a a perfectly fitted grey jacket and pleated skirt as she presented a well-deserved recipient with their prize.

With her brunette locks styled down in her signature slightly waved look, the 46-year-old proudly handed over the Women’s Board Award 2019 to Helle Valentin. The hard working recipient is the Global Account Partner at IBM Denmark, a member of the Dutch building giant Royal BAM Group board and a board member for PFA.

The award was first presented in Denmark in 2014 as a way to create greater diversity in the top of the Danish business community. It also aims to highlight female board members who are rising in their ranks.

“The prize was originally founded by the Norwegian organisation Styreinformation and is also distributed in Norway and Sweden,” the Danish royal family wrote on Instagram.

While all eyes were on Helle for the joyous occasion, fans were also quick to comment on Mary and her dedication to the royal family.

“Our beautiful, beautiful Mary, she is just lovely and down to earth,” one person wrote on Instagram.

“Hope my hardworking Crown Princess Mary (and the Crown Prince) can now have a nice weekend,” another added.

It has been a busy past few days for the royal couple who were last spotted at a honorary banquet for the navy officers at Fredensborg Castle in Denmark on Tuesday night.

The Australian-born princess looked picture perfect for the event sporting a simple floor-length black gown which she teamed with a matching blazer that featured gold details reminiscent of military clothing — a touching way to honour the navy officers at the event.

Mary wore her hair slicked back in an elegant bun for the occasion, and accessorised with a simple black clutch. Meanwhile, Prince Frederick looked dashing in a traditional military uniform.
