Cate Blanchett has pulled off plenty of standout looks over the years and her latest red carpet look is no different.
The Aussie actress wowed in a chic suit as she attended a screening of Cold War in London on Thursday night. The 49-year-old stunned in the standout suit, which was embellished with intricate multi-coloured beading, looking every bit the leading lady that she is.
Cate paired the quirky outfit with a sophisticated pair of black stiletto heels and completed the look with smoky eye make-up, wearing her cropped blonde locks in sleek waves.
The actress seemed to be in high spirits while posing with Pawel Pawlikowski, who is the director of Cold War — which is a romance set in 1950s Poland.
Meanwhile, Cate proved she is every bit a fashion icon as she wowed in no less than three different outfits in the space of two days, earlier this year.
The Blue Jasmine star’s first look was debuted on the red carpet of a screening of musical film A Star is Born. The blonde bombshell opted for an eye-catching velvet bustier gown with a matching feathered cape.
It looked as though she’s walked straight out of vintage Hollywood and wore her blonde locks in a wavy style for the outing.
A day later, the Notes on a Scandal star unleashed yet another look. This time, she was rubbing shoulders with others in the film industry at a special luncheon with Chopard to launch the Green Carpet Fashion Awards.
This outfit was complete with a gorgeous and intricate pattern which featured drawings of women. Cate, who regularly speaks up about women’s rights, teamed the dress with a chunky black belt and matching pair of shoes.
That night, the Robin Hood star had another film premiere to attend which of course, meant another costume change. Similar to the outfit she wore earlier during the festival, this number screamed vintage Hollywood.
Following the success of Ocean’s 8 earlier this year, Cate also has a number of other film projects in the works. In 2019, the star will lend her acting talent to a number of movies including Where’d You Go, Bernadette, Mowgli and How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.
