Zeekr, the global electric vehicle brand under the Geely automotive group, has unveiled the Australian pricing and specifications for its newest premium electric SUV, the Zeekr 7X.
Joining the local Zeekr lineup alongside the Zeekr X and Zeekr 009 later this year, the 7X offers a family-friendly blend of luxury, cutting-edge technology, and groundbreaking performance.
Unveiled at Sydney’s Australian Museum this week, the Zeekr 7X immediately captured attention with its sleek, Swedish-designed exterior and spacious interior. Built on the advanced SEA platform, this five-seater SUV measures 4.79 meters long with a dynamic silhouette featuring slender LED headlights and full-length rear lights.
Pricing starts at $57,900 (excluding on road costs) in Australia for the single-motor Rear-Wheel Drive model, $63,900 (excluding on road costs) for the Long-Range Rear-Wheel Drive and $72,900 (excluding on road costs) Performance All-Wheel Drive model.
The cabin offers generous space comparable to full-size SUVs, complemented by upscale touches such as heated and cooled front massage seats and electric front and rear doors on the flagship Performance model.
Zeekr’s 7X stands out for its advanced technology, operating as a software-defined vehicle powered by Qualcomm’s fastest Snapdragon 8295 chip to date.
The digital cockpit features a responsive 16-inch HD touchscreen, with an optional augmented reality head-up display delivering key driving information directly in the driver’s line of sight. Safety is enhanced with a comprehensive suite of driver assistance systems, including 12 cameras and radar, adaptive cruise control, 3D surround monitoring, and full automatic parking.
Performance and range are equally impressive. The rear-wheel-drive and long-range models feature a single 310kW motor offering up to an estimated 615 kilometres on a single charge. The Performance model boasts dual motors with a combined 475kW, delivering a thrilling 0-100 km/h sprint in just 3.8 seconds and advanced all-wheel-drive traction, including an off-road mode and adjustable air suspension for enhanced capability.
Charging innovation is a hallmark of the Zeekr 7X, which uses the world’s first Golden Battery system. This industry-leading 75kWh battery on the rear-wheel-drive model and a 100kWh battery on other variants enable ultra-fast 800V charging. The Zeekr 7X can recharge from 10% to 80% in as little as 13 minutes using current fast chargers, future-proofing it for even faster charging technology.
To celebrate the launch, the first 1,000 Australian Zeekr 7X buyers will receive exclusive bonuses including a 7kW home charger, portable charging cables, and complimentary colour options. The vehicle also comes with a seven-year warranty and roadside assistance package, underscoring Zeekr’s commitment to quality and customer confidence.
