This little funny about the perks of getting old was sent to Starts at 60 and we couldn’t resist sharing. 

1. There’s nothing left to learn the hard way
2. Things you buy now won’t have a chance to wear out
3. You can eat supper as early as you like and no one says a thing
4. You can live without sex (but maybe  not without your glasses)
5. Your lovers aren’t worried about pregnancy
6. All of your friends are on drugs and it’s perfectly legal
7. In a hostage situation, you’re likely to be released first because the kidnappers are worried you won’t last
8. No one expects you to run – anywhere
9. People don’t call after 8pm for fear of waking you, leaving you to watch TV in peace
10. You don’t have to refer to your knees, feet, hips, eyes etc as ‘left’ or ‘right’ anymore – ‘good’ or ‘bad’ suffices.
