How to remove permanent marker from everything

Permanent marker, as the name suggests, can be a very difficult and seemingly impossible stain to treat precisely because it’s supposed to be permanent. It can be a very dangerous tool in the hands of your grandchildren – an instrument of destruction. So if your grandchildren have unleashed a permanent-marker terror on your home, these tricks will help make those nightmarish stains go away.

Whether it is a household surface, skin or fabric here are a few ways to remove permanent marker.

Clothes – use hand sanitiser

Walls – use toothpaste or hairspray

Wood – use rubbing alcohol

Carpet – use white vinegar

Furniture – use milk

White board – use an eraser

Ceramic or glass – use 1 part toothpaste with 1 part baking soda
