Keeping our homes clean and healthy is something we all aim for, but fighting off stubborn mould can feel like a never-ending battle.
Mould doesn’t just spoil the look of our homes it also comes with serious health risks. One common problem area? The shower, where the dampness creates an ideal environment for mould to flourish.
Thankfully, a savvy professional cleaner has discovered a quick, affordable trick to stay one step ahead of shower mould. Taking to TikTok, Jetlag Remedy Housekeeping revealed her go-to method, promising a shower that is “constantly mould free for just a few dollars”.
“All it takes is this hard-bristled scrubbing brush, I picked up mine for a few dollars from Woolworths and having it hung up in my shower constantly keeps me reminded to give everything a scrub whenever I need to,” she explained.
“When I finish my shower I’ll scrub the grout that needs to be done and then turn [the shower] back on, give it a little rinse off and I’m done. That’s all it takes to stay on top of everything.”
