With less than two months to go until Christmas, you may be starting to think about dusting off some of your festive decorations. And if you’re in need of a new tree, lights or decorations, discount supermarket chain Aldi has got you covered, as from Wednesday, November 4 Aldi Australia will be selling a range of festive-themed decorations as part of the store’s special buys catalogue.

Shoppers will be able to get their hands on a $99 pre-lit Christmas tree that has consistently sold out in previous years. The popular tree measures 213 centimetres tall and comes complete with lights already fitted, which can be changed from coloured to white.

The return of the pre-lit Christmas tree has already created a frenzy on social media. “We got this tree last year and it’s amazing,” one Aldi shopper wrote in the popular Facebook group Aldi Mums.

Another added: “I have had mine for [two] years and love it.” While a third wrote: “We got one last year. It’s the best.”

The German retailer also has a fibre optic tree ($29.99) and a pine Christmas tree ($39.99) up for grabs. And it doesn’t stop there, other notable deals include assorted Christmas decorations selling for $9.99 each. Shoppers have the choice between a nutcracker, an elf, an angel and santa.
