Sydney’s car lovers are in for a treat next month when Collecting Cars, the fast-growing global auction platform for classic and collectible vehicles, hosts its first Coffee Run event in Western Sydney.

The Coffee Run is set for Sunday, October 5, at Entertainment Park in Bankstown, and promises a heady mix of standout cars, great coffee and even some early-morning go-kart action.

“Join us at Entertainment Park in Bankstown for a morning of supercars, muscle cars, JDM specials and classics of all kinds,” says Lee Hallett, Head of APAC at Collecting Cars. “Owners are invited to display their special cars and all enthusiasts and families are welcome to enjoy a Sunday morning with hundreds of fascinating cars.”

For those who want an extra adrenaline rush, Entertainment Park is offering 10 per cent off indoor go-karting between 8 and 10 am.
The Coffee Run series is all about bringing like-minded people together in a relaxed, social setting. Think cars-and-coffee gatherings with a global twist: Collecting Cars now runs more than 60 of these events each year across multiple countries, each one showcasing the best of local car culture.

This Sydney edition marks the platform’s first foray into Western Sydney, and it’s expected to draw a big turnout. With its mix of European exotics, American muscle, Japanese performance heroes and the odd barn-find classic, a Coffee Run is never predictable – and that’s part of the charm.

The best part? It’s completely free to attend. Whether you want to roll up in your pride and joy or just wander through rows of polished chrome and carbon fibre, the Coffee Run is open to all. If you’d like to show off your own car, you’ll need to register your vehicle’s details via the Collecting Cars website.

Since launching in 2019, Collecting Cars has become the fastest-growing online auction platform for collector cars, with more than 300,000 registered members worldwide and 20,000 auction lots sold, totalling more than AUD $1.8 billion. The platform’s reach extends well beyond the online auctions, tapping into car culture at the grassroots through these local events.

Western Sydney’s Coffee Run will be the latest in a long line of gatherings designed to celebrate everything from Ferraris to Falcons, from Porsche 911s to Holden Monaros – and everything in between.

So if the smell of fresh coffee and high-octane history appeals, mark the date in your calendar. This one’s for anyone who believes Sunday mornings are best spent with cars.
