Stevie Nicks is working on new music, with a new singer.
The legendary Fleetwood Mac singer is working on a collaboration with Lana Del Rey for her fifth album Lust for Life. Sean Lennon is also listed to be on the album with a song called Tomorrow Never Came. The release date is yet to be announced.
Earlier this month it was announced that Fleetwood Mac was producing a new 10 track album. While it features the classic line-up, this one is without Nicks. Lindsey Buckingham said Nicks has been busy with other commitments and could not collaborate on this one. Their album is due for release in July.
Over the years Nicks has been nominated for eight Grammy Awards as a solo artist. So far she has not won the gong. With Fleetwood Mac they have had nine Grammy nominations, winning in 1978 for Album of the Year, for Rumours. In 2003 Fleetwood Mac was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
Stevie is still performing regularly. She was listed as the first act in a line-up ahead of Eddie Vedder and the Steve Miller Band, plus dozens more performers for the Bourbon & Beyond Festival in September in the US. She will also perform in London’s Hyde Park in July. She has toured with The Pretenders this year and last.
