In 1966 this song was released by a musical legend’s daughter and within one week it had topped the American, UK and Australian Billboard charts.

The artist was instructed by the producer to sing the song with as much “sex and attitude” as she possibly could.

This traditional pop hit has been covered several times in history. Most notably by Jessica Simpson for the 2005 film, Dukes of Hazard.
