Much to the delight of fans across the globe, renowned conservationist and wildlife advocate Terri Irwin has officially made her Instagram debut, marking the occasion with a touching tribute to her late husband, Steve Irwin.

Not long after joining the popular social media platform, Terri shared her first picture – a heartwarming photo of her late husband, Steve Irwin – who sadly passed away on September 4th, 2006, after a stingray’s barb pierced his chest

The snapshot captured a touching moment between Terri and Steve, their eyes locked in affection as they share a kiss while a reptile rested on top of their heads.

“One crowded hour of glorious life is worth an age without a name,” she wrote alongside the photo.

Fans quickly embraced Terri on Instagram, showering her with warm welcomes and heartfelt comments about the evident love shared between her and Steve in the photo.

“Love you so much. Welcome to Instagram, Mum,” her daughter Bindi Irwin wrote.

“I didn’t even notice the big guy on your heads, I was so taken by the love between you.”

“You’ve made an incredible impact on so many! Thank you! Grew up watching you and Steve all the time, and now I work full time teaching kids about reptiles and other critters,” commented another.

“Wow! There is so much love in just one post, all of these comments fill my heart, and I love the photo you started out with!”

“Dear Terry, welcome to Instagram! We really have been waiting for you here! Wonderful photo to start with.”

Terri has previously opened up about her relationship with Steve, revealing her love for her late husband is still as strong as ever.

“I don’t think love ever goes away,” Terri told the Courier Mail.

“I see Steve and his love for his family all the time. I saw it when Bindi had Grace, I see him in Grace.

“But here’s the thing, you know if Steve were physically here, I probably wouldn’t see Grace for dust. He’d be off with her in his arms showing her all the animals and the trees and the flowers and the sky just like he did with our kids.

“Steve was it for me. That’s just the way it is. I had a big, big love and it was enough to last a lifetime.”
