Aussie director Baz Luhrmann has provided fans with a sneaky peek at his highly anticipated Elvis Presley biopic.
The internationally-adored 59-year-old took to Instagram to reveal the first footage of Austin Butler embodying the King’s trademark rock and roll swagger for the upcoming film which will chronicle the life and career of Presley.
Although brief, the trailer offers a glimpse of some of Presley’s most iconic looks over the years and finishes with the King walking backstage as he approaches what is believed to be his longtime manager Colonel Tom Parker, played by Tom Hanks.
Luhrmann captioned the teaser, “Elvis Monday. Made a little something to let you good people know we are taking care of business on June 24, 2022”.
