If you were like many women here, a young David Cassidy plastered your walls in posters, and the memories of him looking down on you from the laminate are still with you.

Our heart-throb of the 1970s is today on the critical list, hoping for a kidney and a liver transplant, at the age of 67. News reports say he is now out of a coma and surrounded by his family in a critical condition. Instagram is filling up today with memories of him.

So let’s join together today and see the strapping young lad that graced our walls in the 70s, in this selection of memorable images and posters.

If you had one of these or a few on your wall… share them with your grandchildren so they can appreciate the era.

#DavidCassidy stay with us a little longer.
