Ingredients
- 120g dark chocolate, chopped
- 120g butter
- 150g caster sugar
- 50g cocoa powder
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Method
- Preheat the oven to 150C. Butter a 20cm round springform tin and dust with cocoa powder.
- Melt the chocolate and butter together in a double boiler over simmering water.
- Remove from heat and stir in sugar, cocoa powder, eggs and vanilla. Pour the batter into the buttered tin.
- Bake 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Let cool 10 minutes, then turn cake out on rack to cool completely.
