Today in 1978, the Rolling Stones released a song that caused serious controversy amongst the world.
Feminists and civil rights activists were seriously fired up after they heard this song with it’s sexist lyrics.
“Black girls just want to get f***** all night” and “Chinese girls are so gentle/They’re really such a tease” are just two of the lines that caused a stir and gave rise to the band as one that walks on the edge.
If you got to see the Stones in 1999, 2006 or 2008, there’s a good chance you would have heard it live… Something rare as it wasn’t usually included in their live sets.
