Vet with big heart cares for homeless dog

Mar 03, 2016
In a beautiful and connected moment, a vet in an animal shelter was captured giving comfort and care to a dog as she came out of anaesthesia.  6 million people have poured over the video of the homeless dog with an astounding number of shares.  Named “Baby Meesha” she was scared from the unfamiliar feelings that were running through her body according to the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter who posted the video.
The caring vet crooned “I know, I know,” to the dog as he cuddled and kissed her.
The great news is, just a day later, little Baby Meesha found a home and a family who renamed her Maddie.

Baby Meesha was coming off her anesthesia and was a little scared because her body felt so weird. BARCS Surgical Assistant Dennis Moses took her out into the quiet hallway to comfort her. One of our awesome volunteers just happened to be walking by to capture this sweet moment. Thank you to Dennis and all the staff who work long, tireless hours in the background of our shelter—saving lives and loving the animals. (Turn on the sound, it will melt your heart!)
