Do you ever find left over fruit and vegetables have dried up or gone bad at the bottom of the refrigerator?
Sometimes you don’t require a whole cucumber or tomato at a time. But what do you do to keep the leftovers fresh? You might put them in a container which you can’t see through and forget they’re there or perhaps cover with cling wrap which works fine but can be wasteful.
Here’s a great way to keep leftover portions of fruit and vegetables fresh without the hassle.
Step 1. Cut the end off your vegetable and KEEP it.
Step 2. Cut however many slices you require.
Step 3. Replace the end back onto the rest of the vegetable and secure with toothpicks.
Easy as that!
