Old Spice takes it even further with “The Man Song”

Yesterday we showed you the Old Spice “Mum’s Song” which went viral online over the last few weeks.  {If you missed it, we covered it here)

Well, this week, Old Spice has done it again… with a video called “Man Song” and you have to watch it for another giggle.  The men, played by the Bondi Hipsters a viral youtube band, put the mums in their place.

Very clever marketing indeed!

The Old Spice Brand Manager said to Mumbrella,  “We are thrilled to release ‘Man Song’, a locally created music video, inspired by viral Old Spice ad ‘Mom Song’, today. The unique tension point between mums and their sons as they transition from boyhood to manhood proved rich creative territory for us.  By bringing this to life creatively with the Bondi Hipsters we were able to remind guys of how Old Spice can help them navigate this unique journey in a fun, shareable and uniquely Australian way.”
