“Happy” by Pharrell Williams is the funk soul hit that is putting smiles on everyones faces.

It has just come in as number one on the Australian music charts for the tenth week running. This puts it in equal place with songs such as, “Eagle Rock” by Daddy Cool, “I will always love you” by Whitney Houston and “Mamma Mia” by Abba.

There is only one song in Australian music history to pass ten consecutive weeks, American rapper Eminem’s “Loose yourself”. If “Happy” can hang in at number one for just two more week it will equal the most successful song.
