Why Ed Sheeran is being called a modern-day gentleman

Is Ed Sheeran a modern day gentleman?

One wouldn’t normally say a star walking without shoes on is a sweet gesture.

But when it is because he has given them to his girlfriend to walk in, because her own were broken… well, that is sweet.

Ed Sheeran has created a buzz in the UK after his gentlemanly ways.

It was after performing at the BRIT’s, the highest profile music awards ceremony in the UK, that Ed attended an after party with girlfriend Cheery Seaborn.

When leaving the venue Ed let his girl wear his running shoes to the car so she didn’t have to go bare-foot, and he walked along in his socks.

What do you think, a gentleman or not?

Girls around the world have shown their support too.

“Let’s talk about how Ed Sheeran TOOK his shoes off, GAVE them to his girlfriend to wear, HELD her heels and WALKED IN HIS SOCKS. I love him,” one fan tweeted.

Another posted “Boys I know: *slams door in my face* Ed Sheeran: ” with the above image shown.

It bring us to the question, is the art of being a gentlemen forgotten?

It’s not just about being romantic and doing sweet gestures for the one they love either.

It’s about following the traditions of old.

Is it opening the door for someone, or being polite to a waiter, or anyone, for that matter.

Is it knowing how to dress appropriately for an occasion, and rescuing a damsel in distress.

What do you consider to be gentlemanly behaviour?
