Heighten your harmony in Sensational September

Harmony. We all seek it, search and strive for it. We know we want more of it in our lives, but it often seems elusive. Can we really find a gentler balance, even in the midst of this hot-wired world?

Harmony is about working together. In music, it means playing notes that are melodic, that sound good to our ears when mingled. In our work, it means combining efforts to achieve goals without fighting each other. In our relationships, it means understanding and adjusting to each others’ quirks and moods. And in our selves, it means experiencing and reacting to life with inner balance.

September is the month to heighten our harmony and work toward greater peace – inward and outward, balancing our lives and loves. In the weeks ahead we celebrate the energies of the Equinox, a Solar and Lunar Eclipse, Jupiter moving into Libra, Mercury going Direct and Mars advancing into Capricorn! These energies enable us to weigh and measure the issues of our lives with greater care and creatively.

We begin the month with a New Moon/Total Solar Eclipse on the 1^st in the detailed-oriented sign of Virgo! This helps activate the analytical and rational sides of our nature, making us more aware of the changes we need to make in our lives. Use this Eclipse intensity to let go of perfectionistic strivings, feelings of doubt or worry, and instead grow your unique abilities and individual strengths! By embracing positive change you’ll find greater opportunities for manifesting your future dreams!

On the 9^th Jupiter moves into the sign of Libra – staying until October 2017! As the planet of expansion and advancement moves into the Venus-ruled sign representing relationships, attraction and abundance, we begin a beautiful cycle of opportunity! Jupiter in Libra is a happy time – a period of new appreciation, partnerships, creative thought, broadening horizons and cultivating abundance. Just keep moderation in mind as our feelings of inspiration, enjoyment and togetherness can get carried away!

September’s Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on the 17^th encourages us to acknowledge our spiritual selves! This Full Moon in the sensitive and ethereal sign of Pisces encourages us to express more of our intuitive energy – bringing the opportunity to align with our spiritual and creative natures. The Lunar Eclipse intensifies and focuses this energy, prompting us to release whatever blockages or fears we’re holding on to in order to create a more loving, feeling and heart-centered life.

Mercury, the planet of communications and interactions finally goes Direct on the 22^nd after weeks of “backward” motion. This is the signal where we too can move ahead with our plans and projects! With Mercury in Virgo, we’re able to keep an eye to the nuances of things while also seeing all the intricacies of what needs to be accomplished. This makes for an ideal time to organize and strategize your personal game plan with greater clarity of mind and expression!

As the Sun moves into Libra on the 23^rd we welcome the Equinox and the start of a new season. We now embark on a cycle of harmony, bringing greater ability to embrace our inner beauty, intelligence and sense of equilibrium. During this Equinox we can learn how relationships in our lives mirror ourselves, and that meeting others halfway, finding commonality and learning to compromise is the key to balance.

Venus, the planet ruling love and artistry transitions into the sign of Scorpio on the 24^th! This new phase of affectionate expression makes our love interests and need-to-connect feelings more intense. Greater passion and seductive energy encourages us to find new love or share our strong sentiments with a significant other.
