The Queen looks fabulous in fuchsia on day five at Ascot

As temperatures have soared, the Brits haven’t been put off the most glamorous event of the year, continuing to turn up day after day to the Royal Ascot races. 

Despite the recent hospitalisation of Prince Phillip, the Queen has continued to enjoy the races, which are as much, if not more about the fashion than they are about the horses.

Indeed, Her Majesty has paraded an array of boldly coloured outfits as she enjoys time spent with her family at the elaborate affair, with a stunning fuchsia number making her stand out as always on day five. 

Thankfully, it looks as though the weather has offered some relief with an overcast sky, so the famously very strict dress code of the event can be tolerated.

The Queen looked in her element as she smiled broadly whilst presenting the Diamond Jubilee Stakes Cup to the winner at Ascot Racecourse. 

She wore a floral dress underneath a long fuchsia coat, with a matching fuchsia hat with floral detail, and white gloves.
