Snap captures Barack Obama’s real feelings for Michelle

They’ve been out of the spotlight since they left the White House back in January, but the Obamas are back!

Barack and Michelle have made a few public appearances recently, and it seems little has changed for their relationship.

The loved up couple spent some time out of the spotlight in the weeks after Donald Trump’s inauguration.

They’ve returned to public life in spectacular fashion, with Barack awarded the 2017 Profile in Courage award over the weekend.

By his side was a proud Michelle, dressed in a stunning Grecian gown – and she certainly turned heads.

But it’s a photo of Barack that has people talking and it shows just how much he adores his wife.

The photo, snapped by a photographer at the event, shows Barack ‘checking out’ his wife on stage and the look on his face says it all.

While accepting the award, Barack paid tribute to his wife.

“I also want to thank Michelle Obama for after the presidency sticking with me because I think she felt an obligation to the country to stay on,” he told the crowd.

“But once her official duties were over, it wasn’t clear.

“I love my wife. And I’m grateful for her. And I do believe that it was America’s great good fortune to have her as first lady.”

The Obamas have made no secret of their deep love for each other.

They’ve posted plenty of loved up photos and heartwarming tributes to each other on social media, and spoken openly about their relationship in the public arena over the years.
