Just a day after Duchess Catherine of Cambridge shone at a Buckingham Palace party, she was back at work, meeting sick children at a new Ronald McDonald House.
Catherine visited new accommodation created by the fast food giant’s charity, where the families of children can stay while their child is being treated at Evelina Children’s Hospital in London. She was greeted with flowers by 8-year-old Isabelle, who’s brother Luke, 6, is staying at the hospital.
The duchess turned to a tried-and-tested outfit for the engagement – a skirt suit by New Zealand-born designer Rebecca Taylor, The Telegraph reported – which involved the royal getting involved in craft activities and pancake-making.

The Telegraph recalls the duchess wearing the same dark-blue suit back in 2012 for a reception, then again in 2014 when she visited New Zealand. The newspaper’s fashion experts say it harks back to the fashionable-yet-practical suits the late Princess Diana wore for such events.
Diana’s clothes are currently on display at Kensington Palace for an exhibition called Diana: Her Fashion Story.
Duchess Catherine’s was fresh from a reception at Buckingham Palace that celebrated Indian culture, where she wore sparkly shoes by storied designed Oscar de la Renta.
