Richard Branson’s disturbing meeting with Donald Trump

Virgin boss Richard Branson is no stranger to strange times. The man who loves to live life to the fullest sometimes puts himself in incredible situations because he can. However, what was supposed to be a simple lunch date with another Billionaire turned stranger than even he was comfortable with.

In a blog post, Branson wrote about the time he sat down for lunch with the not yet then Republican Nominee for President of the United States. At the time they had never met, and Trump invited him for a meeting and lunch at his Manhattan apartment. “Even before the starters arrived he began telling me about how he had asked some people for help after his latest bankruptcy and how five of them were unwilling to help,” Branson wrote. “He told me he was going to spend the rest of his life destroying these five people.”

Mr Branson has always had a positive outlook on life and told Mr Trump that this sort of negativity is no way to spend a life. “I said it was going to eat him up and do more damage to him than them. There must be more constructive ways to spend the rest of your life. (Hopefully, my advice didn’t lead to him running for President!),” he wrote.

Why Trump had asked Richard Branson to lunch was a mystery. Was it just to tell him about the five that had done Trump wrong or was it to ask him for money? If it had been to ask him for money, Mr Branson wrote: “I would have become the sixth person on his list!”

“What concerns me most, based upon my personal experiences with Donald Trump, is his vindictive streak, which could be so dangerous if he got into the White House.” Branson wrote. He also spoke in contrast to his meeting with Trump about his meeting with Democratic Nominee Hillary Clinton. Instead of launching into a personal story, “we talked about education reform, the war on drugs, women’s rights, conflicts around the globe and the death penalty. She was a good listener as well as an eloquent speaker.”

Whether or not Mr Trump would classify Mr Branson as a “corrupt” media that is helping to “rig” the election against it yet to be seen, but as Trump showed earlier, he’s not afraid to sue someone. Mr Branson just might have pockets deep enough to take him on.

These words from Richard Branson just confirms my thoughts about Trump. We are Australian but it is frightening to think of this man in power.

Any one who backs Hillary Clinton such as Richard Branson is someone who needs to think a little more deeply. After all of the evidence of a liar, a thief, power hungry, money hungry woman people are blindly wanting her as President? what a bunch of followers and scheming socialists. Donald Trump is no Saint but…. Donald is a Saint in comparison to Hillary. God help America and the world if she becomes president.

I agree, Trump comes across as someone who needs psychiatric help or at least counselling of some sort. He certainly isn’t someone who should be leading a country like America or anywhere else. I hope he gets the help he needs because he comes across to me as a very unhappy individual.

i don’t think Mr Frump would be suitable to lead even the smallest country in the world.
his attitude is dangerous to all mankind. AND with greats like Eleanor Roosevelt , Betty Ford, Nancy Reagan and the most recent Michelle Obama… (just to name a few) what would Mrs Frump be like as ‘first lady’???? unimaginable.

Donald Trump and his personality traits really scare me!!!
He’s a very hostile and vindictive man and would use litigation on anyone who crosses his path. He doesn’t possess positive energy whatsoever. Only negativity.
It won’t be “God Bless America” anymore!!!
It will be “God HELP America” if he wins!

i can guarantee that if he were to get in, there would be a world war within two years, he’s just a mouthpiece looking for trouble

Donald Trump would never get this far
If he was trying to be President/Prime
Minister in a third world country there i’m
From! No way!! I’m a proud Jamaican and
      We don’t like “ugly!”

Hillary Clinton has her opponents/enemies murdered!

That at more of a problem than anything Donald Trump threatens!
