After all the big announcement about Prince Phillip stepping down from royal duties it it was back to business as usual for the Queen.
Queen Elizabeth II took part in an investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace yesterday esteeming honour on a number of recipients.
And what a stylish affair it was. It was a meeting of the Queen of fashion and the real Queen when Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour was made a Dame Commander for her work in fashion and journalism.

There’s nothing like a dame as Anna poses with her daughter Bee Schaffer after the event.
Singer Marty Wilde, accompanied by daughter Kim, was amongst those to receive an MBE medal from the Queen during the ceremony.
The Queen, this time accompanied by the Duke of Cambridge, also welcomed Her Excellency Daw Aung San Suu Kyi from Burma to Buckingham Palace.
