Priscilla Presley opens up about her daughter’s situation

Priscilla Presley has taken to social media to clarify what's happening to her granddaughters in the midst of her daughter Lisa Marie's messy divorce.

As you might have read over the weekend, Lisa Marie Presley – the daughter of the late Elvis Presley – is having some struggles at the moment.

It was reported that her 8-year-old twin daughters were in foster care, and that her estranged husband Michael Lockwood was facing court over allegations of child abuse and neglect.

And now Lisa Marie’s mother Priscilla has spoken out about the issue.

She took to social media to clarify what was happening with her granddaughters.

“There is Lots of confusion, commotion and concern from all the talk circulating,” she wrote on Facebook alongside a photo of the girls.

“Let me put this to rest… the girls have not been in foster care and never will be. The girls have been with me and will be until all this is sorted out.”

She posted another photo of the girls together, thanking her fans for their support.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for “all” your positive support,” she wrote.

It’s a situation some grandparents might be able to relate to, and it happens in some family court situations here in Australia, where grandparents are left to care for the kids while the parents battle it out in court.
