At the age of 12, Prince Harry had to suffer the unimaginable the death of his mother. Now aged 31, Harry is opening up about what he went through to help others that have gone through the same.

Harry, along with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, formed the event Heads Together that helps bring together the top mental health charities. The event aims to show that anyone can suffer from mental illness including top sports stars and even Royals.

Harry told BBC Breakfast “It is OK to suffer, but as long as you talk about it. It is not a weakness. Weakness is having a problem and not recognising it and not solving that problem.” He continued, “A lot of people think if you’ve got a job, if you’ve got financial security, if you’ve got a family, you’ve got a house, all that sort of stuff, everyone seems to think that is all you need, and you are absolutely fine to deal with stuff”.

Talking to famed footballer Rio Ferdinand, father of three whose wife died of cancer last year, Harry shared his regret over his mother’s passing “You know, I really regret not ever talking about it.” Speaking about Rio, Harry said, “It is very easy for someone to look at someone like Rio Ferdinand and say, ‘You get paid all the money in the world, you are a successful footballer, you have fast cars.’ But at the end of the day, his wife was snatched from him at an early stage of his life with her. So, of course, he is going to suffer, it doesn’t matter if he has an amazing job.”

Rio speaking about Harry said “He’s gone through different stages in his life that my kids are going to be going towards. So to get some of his experiences is very rewarding for me and very educational in many ways.”

Harry continues to honour his mother with his charity work and has changed his regrets into a voice of welcome to others that are suffering.

It was one of the saddest days in my life, to see Diana dead. She traveled in a car that had over 170 safety features. She was seated in the back seat, right behind her body guard. The car crashed on the drive’s side, which was the left hand side. The driver & Dodi behind him, died. Body guard in the front seat of Diana escaped death, although he was seated next to the driver, in front. If so, how did the passenger right behind him died, when the car hit the concrete on the left side, and there was hardly any damage to the right side of the car. The question is, how did she die. What happened to the 170 odd safety features of a large Benz ?. Was she killed. I think so. If so, who arranged it. It is very strange, she died & the bodyguard in front of her, escaped. Who was responsible for her death ?. I don’t think, no one will ever know it, but, the person who did it, will suffer in life or after death.

Her bodyguard was wearing a seat belt and although badly hurt, he survived. Unfortunately Diana was not wearing a seat belt. On impact, she would have been flung forward, with no seat belt to help protect her. It is so sad!

She didn’t have her safety belt on so Sh was thrown between the two front seat and then navy again damaging her neck and organs
170 safety features don’t mean anything if you don’t use them…

I too was very saddened by the death of Princess Diana as the whole world was, she was an inspiration to all of us. I don’t understand how we lose such beautiful people as Princess Diana, yet we have unsavory people that cheat death so much. As the old saying goes “Only the good die young” and young she was with 2 such beautiful boys now grown up and having to carry on with such pain. I adore both her boys, one now being a father himself and still one being the ever happy-go-lucky guy, but both holding in their pain and showing so much love to all they meet just being an image of their mother.

Dreadfully sad of Princess Diana to die so young but if only she maintained her position as Mother of the future King of England and mixed with people on a par with her upbringing it may not have happened. She could have had the most eligible men of England why Dodi Fayed? Very sad.
