OJ Simpson’s lawyer speaks out about the case

If you’ve ever wondered what OJ Simpson whispered to his lawyer just moments after he was acquitted of the murder of his wife and her boyfriend, wonder no more.

For the first time in 20 years Robert Shapiro, Simpson’s lawyer throughout the trial, has broken his silence and revealed intimate details of the case and that moment famously caught on cameras.

Seventy-three-year-old Shapiro spoke with Fox News and says that when he tried on the glove that became a key piece of evidence during possibly one of the most followed trials in history, he knew immediately it would not fit his client.

“It was a little bit wide in my palm and a little bit long in my fingers. OJ Simpson has enormous hands and I knew that glove would not fit him. Not question about it. Wouldn’t even be close,” Shapiro says.

The lawyer offered a view on who killed Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, saying it was likely the killings were carried out by more than one person and more than one knife could have been used.

What about that famous moment when OJ Simpson was acquitted of the murder, what did the football superstar whisper to his lawyer?

Shapiro says, “You told me this would be the result from the beginning. You were right,” was what Simpson said in that moment.

Did you follow the OJ Simpson murder trial of 1994? Did you form an opinion on how it would turn out?
