Nick Kyrgios clashes with fans and opponent in Mexico

Australia tennis star Nick Kyrgios has once again found himself embroiled in a controversy for his on court actions.

While playing in Mexico for the Mexico Open and was playing a match against Israeli Dudi Sela. Kyrgios took umbrage with some of Sela’s fans who were talking in between play and yelled at them to “shut the f*** up!”

The fans told reporters that they felt threatened by Kyrgios and are demanding an apology. After winning the match, Kyrgios taunted the same fans from his chair on the court.  This taunting caught the ire of Sela who confronted Kyrgios.  The two had a heated exchange while an official had to get between them.

While many online are quick to blame Kyrgios over the incident there were many coming to his defence saying that the Sela fans were getting to everyone not just Kyrgios.

What do you think?  Do you think that Kyrgios stepped over the line or should there have been more done to control the crowds?  Let us know in the comments below.
