Michelle Obama shows off her amazing style at Hillary Clinton rally

First Lady Michelle Obama has joined Hillary Clinton on the campaign trail for the first time and she certainly made the most of it.

Michelle joined Hillary on stage at a rally in North Carolina earlier today and brought the house down with her powerful speech.

She followed Hillary who gave a moving speech of her own where she heaped praise on her “friend” Michelle.

“Is there anyone more inspiring than Michelle Obama?” she said to rapturous applause.

“Let’s be real. As our first African-American first lady she’s faced pressures I never did.”

“And she’s handled them with pure grace. By any standard she has been an outstanding first lady who has made us all so proud.”

The two women seem to have put aside any remaining tension they had after Barack Obama beat Hillary to become the Democratic nominee in 2007, when things got particularly nasty on the campaign trail.

Since then they’ve worked closely together with Hillary serving as Secretary of State for four years under Barack’s first term.

Michelle looked emotional after hearing Hillary’s speech and give her a giant hug as she stepped up to the podium herself.

During her speech she took a number of swipes at Donald Trump without ever even saying his name, telling the crowd they needed someone who was going to take the job in the White House seriously.

“Do not let yourself get tired or frustrated or discouraged by the negativity of this election,” she said.

“As you are out there working your hearts out for my girl, this thing I want to tell you all… Please be encouraged… I have never felt more hopeful about the future.”

With election day finally happening in a week and a half, America and the world are that much closer to finding out who will become arguably the most powerful person in the world.

Are you a fan of Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton? Who do you hope wins?
