The areas of Mudgee, Tamworth, Gunnedah, Moree, Narrabri, Dubbo, Parkes, Condobolin, Coonamble, Nyngan and West Wyalong in New South Wales are on edge as a dangerous weather system is aiming to hit today according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
BOM has reported that those areas have to expect some severe thunderstorms, hail up to 10 mm in diameter, and in the north-western plains, there could even be tornados.
NSW State Emergency Service (SES) has issued warnings for people to secure any loose items as well as to not travel trough flood waters and stay away from downed power lines.
While the rain is going to start on Monday, it’s expected that Tuesday will be worse with 25-70 mm predicted.
