Kmart recalls kitchen appliance due to fire danger

Kmart has issued a recall for Kambrook microwaves.

Shoppers all around Australia are being alerted about Kmart’s latest recall on a kitchen appliance. If you or someone you know has purchased the Kambrook Essentials Microwave Oven 30L (model KMO400), please immediately stop using the appliance and unplug it from the socket outlet. According to the recall notice, the product has a potential component failure and the defect may result in a fire, potentially causing injury to consumers or damage to surrounding area. If you have this product, please return the unit to any Kmart store nationally in exchange for a replacement Kambrook Essentials Microwave Oven 30L (KMO400).
