It’s been a while since you’ve seen Kerri-Anne Kennerley on television in a hosting capacity. She has made the news several times this year as the recovery of her husband, John, has taken centre stage.
However, there is no denying Kennerley is one of Australia’s most recognised personalities and now that John is on his way to better health it has been revealed Kerri-Anne Kennerley will be making a return to television.
According to TV Tonight, Channel 10’s broadcast of Australia Day 2017: Live at the Opera House will be hosted by Kerri-Anne Kennerley alongside Grant Denyer.
“Ten’s Grant Denyer will host the proceedings, joined by Kerri-Anne Kennerley, who will deliver interviews from behind the scenes,” a statement on the website says.

Kennerley welcomed her husband home recently, after a freak accident left him paralysed.
She wrote on her Instagram account: “John’s home. This is the day I’ve [been] hoping and waiting for since March 6th. Thank you to each and everyone one [sic] of you. Forever thankful.”

In an interview aired on Channel 7’s Sunday Night program, the 63-year-old confessed that her husband’s accident had taken its toll on her.
