Hillary Clinton reveals how she’s been coping with election loss

You’ve all seen, heard and read plenty about Donald Trump in the past week since his US election win. But

You’ve all seen, heard and read plenty about Donald Trump in the past week since his US election win.

But Hillary Clinton on the other hand has been quiet.

Since her concession speech a week ago, she’s hardly been seen or heard from.

Today Clinton made her first speech since then, opening up about how she’s been coping since she lost the election.

She told the crowd at the Children’s Defence Fund’s Beat The Odds Gala that “it wasn’t the easiest” for her to appear publicly since the loss.

“I will admit, coming here tonight wasn’t the easiest thing for me,” she said.

“There have been a few times this past week where all I wanted to do was curl up with a good book and our dogs and never leave the house again.”

So, what about the election?

Well, Clinton also spoke about the election, acknowledging she was “deeply disappointed” in the result.

“I know many of you are deeply disappointed about the results of the election – I am, too, more than I can ever express,” she said.

“But as I said last week, our campaign was never about one person or even one election.

“I know this isn’t easy. I know that over the past week a lot of people have asked themselves whether America is the country we thought it was.

“The divisions laid bare by this election run deep. But please listen to me when I say this: America is worth it. Our children are worth it. Believe in our country, fight for our values and never, ever give up.”

What do you think of Hillary Clinton’s speech? Have you ever wanted to “never leave the house again”?

  1. It has been so nice, not having to look at that smug face on tv, you were the weakest link, goodbye.

Any other woman but not this woman for president of America. Hillary’s record is annoying and worrisome. Give Donald Trump a chance to prove his worth and stop being blind and deaf about Hillary Clinton and Bubba Bill with his philandering record from the time he was governor and President of the USA. Hillary condoned his behavior many times that tells me a lot about the woman and her terrible record as First lady and Secretary of State. This woman had the temerity to run for President? God in his mercy has saved Americans and the world.

I dont live in the usa so i cant fully understand why pple dont like her…but i can say, what a classy lady!shes not said anything bad about trump..its taken guts and grace on her behalf since, a lot of pple should be as classy…

Sorry Carole I do not agree with you about Hillary Clinton being classy she has a terrible record and she would never get my vote if I was in America. Our Julian Assange is a hero for exposing Hillary or people would have gone to the polls totally blind to all she has done and so has her husband. No hard feelings I simply disagree. Julian Assange has saved America, Americans and the world because the whole world follows America.

Hopefully you will just fall off the edge of the earth, becuase you are a DISGRACE to this country. You should never been Secretary of state. You completely made a mess out of that and then you thought we were going to let you pick up where Obama left off? I don’t think so!
