Duchess of Cambridge stuns in Paris

William and Kate were all smiles as they made their way around the city.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have enjoyed a second day out in Paris as part of their official royal visit to France this week.

The pair were seen smiling and laughing with young locals as they kicked a football around a field with a children’s sports team and posed for a stunning photo underneath the Eiffel Tower.

Later they met with World War 2 veterans and survivors of the Bataclan theatre attack, where William told them: “We think you are very strong and very brave, you’ve made amazing progress.”

They listened to a story from 100-year-old WW2 POW Colonel Jean Camus who escaped the Nazi’s twice.

After shaking hands with Col Camus, William exclaimed: “As escape artist!” The veteran joked: “I spent most of my life in jail. I could write a book.” William replied: “You should, it would be a bestseller.”

Col Camus added: “I didn’t expect to live so long, it’s a surprise. I’m very glad to see you living and not on pictures as I saw the Queen and Charles. Thank you for listening.”

Later, they headed to a rugby match to watch the nail-biting final between Wales and France, where the home nation managed to clinch the win.

It was William and Kate’s last day in Paris. They will now head to off around the country to continue their royal duty.

Are you a fan of the royal couple? Would you like them to visit Australia again?
