Days of Our Lives star granted restraining order against fan

A Days of Our Lives star has been granted a temporary restraining order against an obsessed fan. 

Alison Sweeney, 40, is best known for her role as the conniving Sami Brady in the long running daytime soap, and has also hosted the US version of The Biggest Loser. 

TMZ reported that Jon Christopher LuVisi, of Oklahoma has been harassing Sweeney for several years via social media, and has attempted to extort money from the star after claiming he had had an affair with her, although they have never actually met. 

E! News reported that court documents obtained by them showed that LuVisi had also apparently threatened physical harm against Sweeney, and the harassment has escalated so much that Sweeney now “fears for her safety and the safety of her family.”

The stalker had also reportedly found the actress’ home address and telephone number and posted them online. 

The documents contained threatening messages LuVisi had sent to Sweeney.

“B—h you better answer me,” one read.

“You can’t hide from me you sorry ass b—h.

“Don’t push me. Your really starting to piss me off.”

Sweeney reported the abuse in June to the California Highway Patrol, who launched a joint investigation with Oklahoma Law Enforcement, where it was revealed that LuVisi’s wife had come close to divorcing him over his “infatuation” with the actress. 

According to The Daily Mail, the restraining order forbids LuVisi from going within 1,000 feet of Sweeney, her home, car, work or even her kids’ school.
